These are the mother drums...big, beautiful, rich and deep. A pair is enough but three is better and you get an 8% discount to boot!. Made with twineboa shells and cow heads from Ivory Coast, Mali or Guinea. These drums are NOT hardwood, so they don't weigh a ton. Hardwoods are a mismatch for dundun IMHO, the weight is not worth the extra price in a closed drum configuration. People rave about the value of Ghana Duns!
